Dalton Logistics has turned an Adelaide River escarpment, into a luxury resort for 500 people.

An opulent tented camp has been purpose-built in the Adelaide River area for two back-to-back groups each of 500 people adjacent to Kakadu National Park in August 2002.

Specially built luxury tents, called habitats, feature wooden floors, queen size beds, individual ablutions, lighting and a range of high quality amenities.

The base camp features an air conditioned dining pavilion, meeting space, service and entertainment areas, outdoor business theatre, swimming pools, spas and public areas that take advantage of the spectacular setting. The camp is the staging point for self-drive 4WD safaris into Kakadu, Katherine Gorge, Litchfield Park and other star attractions. Each convoy is lead by one of Dalton Logistics experienced bushman with a back-up vehicle monitoring each expedition.

The location of the camp is on private title land and extensive environmental safeguards are part of the infrastructure of the site with minimal effect on the existing environment.

Casual employment opportunities for approximately 100 plus locals have become available as part of this multi million investment in the Top End with extensive commitment from the organisers to using locally sourced goods and services.

Amway qualifiers have the opportunity to extend their stay in the Top End and further explore this spectacular region of Australia.

The camp will is available on application to selected incentive and meeting groups during the Dry season from June to October each year.

Adventurers return each evening to their luxury habitats to experience an evening of fine food and entertainment. Menus feature quality seafood, tropical fruits, and a range of Territorian tucker.

With 4WD adventures, nights under the tropical sky, superb fishing, picnic lunches while touring, cruising Yellow Water, wildlife galore, and superb cuisine, the qualifiers are invited to discover Kakadu, and to discover themselves.
